T cells: White blood cells that normally can attack virus-infected cells, foreign cells and cancer cells. Also called T lymphocytes, they produce substances that regulate the immune system's response.

T-cell leukemia: A disease in which some cells of the lymphatic system called T lymphocytes or T cells are malignant.
